Oliver Barker is Chairman at Sotheby鈥檚 Europe. An alumnus of The Courtauld, having graduated with an MA in History of Art in 1993.
Oliver first joined Sotheby鈥檚 in 1994, moving to the Contemporary Art Department in 2001, and rising to Chair, Sotheby鈥檚 Europe, Senior International Specialist in 2016. Today, as Sotheby鈥檚 Principal Auctioneer, he is a key figure on the rostrum at the major auctions in both London and New York.
